When you use our image generation features:

• Uploaded photos - temporarily processed to generate your requested images
• Generated images - stored in your account history
• Location selections - the destinations you choose for image generation

We automatically collect:

• Device type and operating system version
• App version
• Usage patterns and feature interactions
• Crash reports and error logs

2.4 Payment Information

For purchases, Apple handles all payment processing through the App Store. We receive:

• Transaction identifiers
• Subscription status
• Purchase history for credit packs

We do not receive or store your credit card numbers or payment method details.

3. Face Data

3.1 What Face Data We Collect

When you upload a photo to GoScene, the app processes the following face-related data:

• Face detection data - The app uses Apple's on-device Vision framework to detect whether a face is present in your uploaded photo. This detection occurs entirely on your device and no facial recognition data is sent to any server.
• Your uploaded photo - The photo you upload, which may contain your face and facial features, is sent to Google's Gemini AI service for the purpose of generating your travel photo. The photo is compressed (JPEG format) before transmission.

3.2 How We Use Face Data

Face data is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• On-device face detection - To verify a face is present in your photo before generation, improving result quality. This processing happens locally on your iPhone using Apple's Vision framework and no data leaves your device for this purpose.
• AI image generation - Your photo (including facial features) is sent to Google's Gemini AI service, which uses it to generate a composite image of you at your selected location. The AI service processes the visual appearance in your photo to create a realistic result.

3.3 Third-Party Sharing of Face Data

Your photo containing face data is shared with the following third party for processing:

• Google (Gemini AI) - Your uploaded photo is sent to Google's Gemini AI service for image generation. Google processes this data according to Google's Privacy Policy and Gemini API Terms of Service. The photo is transmitted securely via HTTPS.

We do not share your face data with any other third parties, data brokers, or advertising networks.

3.4 Storage and Retention of Face Data

• On-device face detection results - Processed in memory only; not stored persistently.
• Uploaded photos sent to AI - Transmitted to Google's Gemini AI for processing and not permanently stored by GoScene on any server after generation is complete. Google's data retention policies apply during processing.
• Generated images - The AI-generated output images are stored in your local device history and can be deleted at any time by you.

3.5 Your Control Over Face Data

You have full control over your face data:

• The app requests your explicit consent before sending any photo to the AI service for the first time.
• You can choose not to use the AI generation feature.
• You can delete generated images from your history at any time.
• You can delete your account to remove all associated data.

4. AI Data Processing & Third-Party Sharing

4.1 What Data Is Sent to the AI Service

When you use the image generation feature, the following data is sent to Google's Gemini AI service:

• Your uploaded photo - Compressed to JPEG format (reduced quality and resolution) before transmission. This photo may include your face, body, and any visible surroundings.
• Location information - The name, latitude, and longitude of the destination you selected.
• Style parameters - The photography style, pose, camera angle, and framing preferences you selected (or that were randomly generated).

The following data is not sent to the AI service:

• Your name, email, or account information
• Photo metadata (EXIF data, timestamps, GPS from original photo)
• Device identifiers or tracking data
• Face recognition data or biometric identifiers

4.2 Who Receives Your Data

Your photo and location data are sent to:

• Google LLC - Specifically, Google's Gemini AI (generative AI) service, which processes your request and returns a generated image. Google is located in the United States. Data is transmitted securely using HTTPS/TLS encryption.

4.3 User Consent

GoScene requires your explicit consent before sending any personal data to the AI service:

• Before your first image generation, the app displays a detailed consent screen explaining what data will be sent, who will receive it, and how it will be used.
• You must actively agree to proceed. If you decline, no data is sent and you can continue using other features of the app.
• Your consent preference is stored locally on your device.

4.4 Data Protection

• All data sent to Google's Gemini AI is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
• Photos are compressed and reduced in size before transmission to minimize data exposure.
• Google's Gemini API processes data according to Google's privacy policy and terms of service, which provide protections for user data.
